Our vision is for every person to enjoy all the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards. We welcome anyone!
GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance)
Advisors: Eric Berg, Terra BialyTapestry's GSA is a club that focuses on awareness of issues affecting GLBT students both in school and in the greater community. The GSA has worked closely with GLYS, Gay and Lesbian Youth Services, to organize events such as last spring's wildly successful "gay bingo". All students are welcome to attend our weekly meetings and social gatherings.
Spirit Squad
Coaches/Advisors: Tiffany Fanning, Taryn MattesonThe Spirit Squad is a group of positive, energetic, and responsible students who represent and support Tapestry High School Athletics. We value what it means to be a member of the Tapestry Community and we show our school spirit at events. Our routines include hip-hop, cheer, and step.
Tapestry Music Collective
Advisors: Jesse Mank, Edreys Wajed The Tapestry Music Collective is an extracurricular program designed to empower students through musical expression and encourage an adventurous do-it-yourself spirit. Students compose and record original music under the guidance of Mr. Mank and Mr. Wajed and publish their work on our website: www.tapestrymusiccollective.com. No musical background is required, only a willingness to learn, collaborate, and create.
