Eric Klapper began his role as Chief Operating Officer in February 2010 where he oversees Tapestry Charter School's operations, finance and accounting, facilities and grounds management and technology.  Prior to joining the Tapestry community, Eric worked as a consultant for The Whelan Group, a private consulting firm in New York City providing strategic management and advisory services to not-for-profit organizations.  He also served as the Director of Development for ACE Programs for the Homeless in New York City.  He has lived in Nairobi, Kenya where he spent time working as a project manager evaluating new safari sites for accelerated community-based eco-tourism.  Mr. Klapper earned a master's degree in Management from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School at the University College Dublin in Ireland and is a proud alumnus of St. Lawrence University.
