Fred Carstens is the ninth grade Global History and Geography teacher and chairs the Social Studies department. Mr. Carstens is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of both Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. After being honorably discharged, Mr. Carstens earned his B.S. in Social Studies from Buffalo State College Summa Cum Laude, and received his master’s degree from Saint Bonaventure University in Advanced Inclusion Processes. Along with teaching, he has been the advisor for Tapestry’s award winning Model United Nations team.
